What we do

Austin’s House operates an emergency shelter facility for children up to age 18. Children arrive to due to abuse, neglect, abandonment, or other forms of maltreatment when a family relative or licensed foster care family is not available.

We strive to give the children in our care a stable environment. We ensure that they receive:

  • Balanced meals and healthy snacks
  • Clothing and personal care items
  • Educational support and counseling
  • Medical screenings and attention to health issues, including vaccinations and visits to doctors and dentists
Our specially trained staff provides help, comfort, care and support.
While children are living at Austin’s House, we ensure that they attend their regular school and any activities that they participated in before being placed with us. Through the generosity of our donors, children at the shelter are able to participate in a variety of activities and attend community events.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organziation, registered in the State of Nevada. Tax ID 03-0533503.
